Training & Courses


Bespoke courses, including basic laboratory skills, microbiology, spectrophotometry and chromatography training.




Laboratory Technician: introductory course for new technicians, management and leadership for technicians.



Starting September

Foundation Degree:  we offer both a two your full time and part time route to FdSc in Life Science Laboratory Technology.  Progressions to a BSc Honours top up has now been validated by the University of Kent and will be available from September 2012




School enrichment days involve hands on activities for students:  spectrophotometry, FTIR, DNA day, chromatography day, drug discovery workshop, chromatography, enzymology, cell disruption and centrifugation.  We would be happy to discuss any other practical activities you want your students to experience.

Courses for teachers and technicians available in collaboration with the Science Learning Centre South East and CLEAPS.

These courses cover primary and secondary school science and there are specialist courses for GCSE and A level support in the classroom and laboratory.

Moving Forward with New Curriculum Developments - Kent & Medway - IMPACT Award
